Tips For Drinking Granulated Herbs
How to prepare granulated herbs:
Half fill a mug with freshly boiled water. Add two flat spoons of granulated herbs into the water and stir. Continue to stir vigorously until the granules are fully dissolved. Then let the mixture slightly cool, but ensure it is drunk whilst it is still warm. This will aid absorption. The spoon will be provided inside the jar. If you not receive a spoon, each dose should equate to 8 grams. One last important point is to make sure the herbs are taken no sooner than 30 minutes from eating.
If you are finding the herbs difficult to drink, try the following:
- The cooler the water gets, the worse the herbs tend to taste. Yet, if you try and drink them whist they are too hot, it requires multiple sips. The best technique is to wait until the water slightly cools so that it is still warm. This will allow you to drink them faster.
- Don’t use too much water. The more water you use, the more that needs to be ingested. The herbs can still be effectively dissolved in about a quarter of a mug of water.
Drink the herbs quickly and follow immediately up with something to rinse your mouth. Mouthwash tends to do the trick, if not, a sweet tasting drink like fruit juice will work. So that the herbs can be taken on an empty stomach, it is best to spit out whatever you use to cleanse your palate.
